Just got a 2023 XC40 P8 Recharge. We live in Costa Rica and where we are specifically has mostly bad dirt roads. I was wondering if anyone has switched to “All Terrain” tires.

Hey @kensmethod. What tires are on your XC40 at the moment and how bad are the roads near you?
What size are you looking for?
FALKEN WILDPEAK A/T TRAIL, YOKOHAMA GEOLANDAR A/T G015, BFGOODRICH TRAIL-TERRAIN T/A and NITTO NOMAD GRAPPLER are some you could go with.
You will likely see some decrease in range.

Thank you for the reply. Is it ok for me to switch to All Terrain tires? Will my warranty etc still be intact? Is it an approved modification per Volvo? Is there any negative effect?
ha! Roads are incredibly bad where I live but roads in and out of San Jose are good. The car came with Continental 235/50 R19 V XL on the front, 255/45 on rear.
