Greetings All,

We purchased a 2022 XC60 T8 Recharge in September of last year and are learning the ins and outs of EV ownership. We moved from the Denver area to Phoenix in January, and are mostly settled in. I recently set up a ChargePoint home charging station in our garage, and I'm looking forward to seeing the impact on our fuel economy. Prior to that, we were not leveraging any charging on a regular basis. Kind of bummed that they released the Extended Range version only a few months after our purchase. Looking forward to hearing about the experiences that others have had, and happy to contribute to the community.

Cheers,
-Matt

Hey @Mattonator welcome to the forum! Congrats on your XC60! What's been your favorite thing(s) about it since you bought it?
@Mattonator is it your first electrified vehicle? Considered any other vehicles before going with it?

The driving experience has been really pleasant, especially the immediate torque - but admittedly, the seats have been the best part! We've made a few road trips with the car and each have been great. It primarily gets used as my daily driver, and I only wish we'd held out for the Extended Range version, but were unaware that it was on the horizon.

This was our first electrified vehicle. At the time, we had not really considered other EV/Hybrid options. My wife had wanted a Volvo XC90, but we both enjoyed the size and more nimble feel of the V60 and XC60. We were about to pull the trigger on the XC60 T6 unit, but saw one of the T8 Recharge models & gave it a test drive. Definitely opened my eyes to the EV/Hybrid world, and I'm curious to learn more about them and the technology involved.
