Volvo has filed a trademark application with the USPTO for the name C60.

It could potentially be for a new model that's coming, but as Autoblog has pointed out it's a name Volvo has been trademarking since 2001.

Volvo reapplied to reserve the term C60, first applied for in 2001 at the same time it applied for C40. With the C40 here, the C60 could be close.
